Marim Rizk is a dedicated school psychologist with over seven years of experience supporting students across multiple New York City school districts, including Districts 13, 14, 15, 16, and 31. Since 2018, she has worked in both school-based settings and at the Committee on Special Education district office level, bringing comprehensive expertise to student evaluation and intervention.

Marim earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brooklyn College before obtaining her Master’s degree in School Psychology. Currently in her final coursework year of doctoral studies, she is pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, demonstrating her commitment to advancing her clinical knowledge and skills.

Bilingually certified in Arabic, Marim is equipped to conduct evaluations in both English and Arabic, ensuring culturally and linguistically responsive services for diverse student populations. In her role as a school psychologist, she conducts comprehensive cognitive, educational, and social-emotional evaluations to assess student needs and inform appropriate interventions. She chairs IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans that support student success. Additionally, Marim provides mandated and at-risk counseling services within school settings, offering critical support to students facing behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges.

With her extensive evaluation experience, leadership in special education processes, and direct therapeutic interventions, Marim brings a holistic approach to school psychology that addresses the diverse needs of the students and communities she serves.
