DR. LINDA JUNE, PHD.
Dr. June is an NJ licensed clinical psychologist. She has worked in the mental health field for over 25 years. This includes providing psychological treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. June has worked in a variety of settings. This includes community mental health outpatient services, intensive day programs for co-occurring disorders (mental disorders + addictions), and the chronically mentally ill, incarcerated juvenile offenders, and young adults.
Dr. June is experienced in writing psychological evaluations for the courts (county and federal), the public defender’s office and DCP&P. Dr. June has clinical experience treating individual patients with anxiety/depression, PTSD, sexual abuse, domestic violence, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, and ADHD. Dr. June has further experience in the area of couples therapy, marriage counseling, and family therapy. She works from the perspective of family systems theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic theory.
Dr. June also taught undergraduate and graduate psychology courses for 28 years at NJCU. Dr. June received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ; her Master of Science in clinical psychology from the California State Los Angeles University, and her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
